The online marketing world is a wonderful place, filled with ideas and advice from seasoned industry experts. From the basics to the latest and greatest, there is so much to learn. Here are the top three events I’ve attended thus far.
1. “The Basics”. This event was held in Boston and I got to meet the brains behind many leading online marketing firms. The speakers were great and had so much stuff to discuss, you really couldn’t go wrong.
This event was the most basic and was full of ideas and advice that I wish I had when I started my own marketing business. I think the key to any marketing conference is to keep the basics covered. You need to know what the internet is about, how to use SEO, how to use social media, how to leverage the right keywords, and the most important of all, how to know what you need to know to succeed.
The internet is definitely about marketing. But the conference brought in a whole lot of great new marketing info. Not only did they bring in speakers who specialize in other marketing topics, they also had a few sessions on how to make your own events, how to bring people together, how to use social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc), and much more. I also loved the idea of a guest speaker from Google who had a few things to share with us.
The conference was a great way to start a new year of new learning and new ideas. It was also a great way to connect with some great new marketing ideas. I did find that I did learn a lot of new marketing information at the conference that I didn’t even know about before. There are definitely other ways to learn marketing that aren’t on the internet.
The conference was amazing and I just wanted to say thank you to all my teachers, mentors, and colleagues for helping me grow so much over the past year. I also wanted to thank my family and friends for supporting me and giving me a chance to realize my dream. This conference was a ton of fun and I am looking forward to next year’s conference.
I also love the idea of going to a conference to take a look at the art and craft of marketing. I think that it will be so much fun to do and show your creative mind, rather than just go and see what your ideas are.
It has been great to have so many people in my life to celebrate with me and see my work in action. It’s also great to see so many people that are passionate about marketing at the same time. I hope the next marketing conference I go to is as fun and as productive as this one. This year I plan to go to the annual Marketing Leadership Summit at the University of Southern California in March 2017.
I’m really looking forward to this conference. I’m going to get to work with the best in the business and meet some of the coolest women going.
The Marketing Leadership Summit, or MLS for short, is the second-annual conference of the American Marketing Association. This will be my first trip to the event, and hopefully the first trip of the year to the conference. I’m really looking forward to it.
