Salesforce does not have its own cloud-hosted account, so if you sign up with a Salesforce cloud-hosted account (which you should), you dont need to visit Salesforce to check all your accounts.
It’s an interesting point that Salesforce is not using Salesforce.com as its account provider. If you are using Salesforce.com, and Salesforce is the account provider, then Salesforce will have to host your account with Salesforce.com. This is a bit of a red flag if you are going to be doing salesforce marketing, so you should know that Salesforce can be used to host your account.
So, Salesforce.com is not really the account provider, it is the Salesforce.com account provider.
The point is that this is a good sign that Salesforce isn’t going to be using Salesforce.com for the account provider, and if they are using Salesforce.com as an account provider, then that is something that you should know.
