Basically, they are saying that because the world is a bigger place, marketing in all of its forms, from billboard advertising through Internet marketing, is better than ever before.
According to this article, it isn’t just bigger, but also more interactive, more competitive, and potentially more influential. Also, it’s basically saying that we are living in a world that is just easier to market in. So as you can see, marketing isn’t really dead, but marketing is definitely becoming a lot easier, and more appealing to brands and customers alike.
