Geofencing marketing companies were the ones that invented the term “geofencing.” Geofencing marketing companies are companies that are set up to monitor where (or as well as) people go. This creates a lot of extra work for people to pay for, but it’s often a great way to track the location of your customers.
Geofencing is a fairly new concept, and has been around for years. The basic idea is that instead of being able to track everything the people that come into a store, they can now track the amount of time spent in the store. For example, if a customer comes into the store and spends 10 minutes in the store, you can then set up a geofence to track them based on this amount of time.
This is great, but if you look at it through the lens of the “customer experience” you end up with a ton of unnecessary tracking of your customers. If you don’t want to give out your customer’s phone number to someone from the customer service department, you can always just track their location through GPS and use that to send them a text message.
So geofencing is great, but it has a few flaws. The most important issue is that it’s a tracking method. Tracking where you are every second and then calculating how long you spent in that place is not the best use of your time. Instead, the company that makes geofencing has to come up with a better way of doing this.
The company that makes geofencing has come up with an interesting idea. They call it “geofencing marketing.” Basically, your customers are essentially your advertisement. If you have a client that you know will buy a certain item, you can use geofencing to send them personalized messages. The idea is that instead of a customer looking at a map and figuring out where the nearest store is, they can get a text message with the exact location of their destination.
That may seem like a lot of information, but it actually seems like a lot less information than it is. The fact is that the vast majority of geofencing is done by companies that are not local and don’t have any real customer base. I’m not saying that this means that geofencing is useless, but it does mean that we should be willing to take a leap of the imagination a bit more to get a piece of the action.
So the next time you’re out and about and you see a guy with a GPS and a phone and a map and a GPS, get ready for a little bit of trouble.
In the case of geofencing, its the same thing. The idea is that as you find stuff, it tracks the location of your device. So when you have a GPS on your phone that lets you see a map of the city, you can use it to track your device’s location on the map. And when you have a GPS on your laptop, you can use it to track the location of your laptop on the map.
The first thing you can do is get a map of your home, and if you have a GPS on your phone, you can use that to search for a GPS on your desktop computer. If your laptop has one, you can use that to find a GPS on your laptop. When youve got a GPS on your phone, you can use that to find a GPS on your PC. When youve got a GPS on your tablet, you can use that to find a GPS on your laptop.
