This is a new job that I am excited to take on. I am excited because I think this is the job I will grow into. I am extremely grateful to be a part of the industry and industry giants like WPP and BBDO that help create jobs in the industry I love.
So, to be a successful event marketing manager, you will need a lot of experience and a lot of drive. You need to have good business sense, know how to communicate with a variety of audiences, and be able to multitask.
I’ve always done event marketing. I don’t have the experience to be a full-time event manager, but I do have the experience of being a part of an event and knowing what that entails. I’ve done events where I was the event coordinator, which was a fun position, and events where I was the event planner – I’ve been to a few of those events and they are awesome.

I’m going to give you an example of a company that will have a lot of fun trying to sell tickets, but then you decide to go with other companies that are more serious and can sell tickets to other companies. Being a social media manager is a lot like being a graphic designer. It involves both crafting eye-catching content and managing the social media accounts. But its also about understanding the intricacies of social media and understanding that social media is a lot more than posting content. Its about staying in close touch with your clients and your team and doing a good job. You get paid for it.
