The fact is that the majority of our thoughts and actions are on autopilot. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing either, as it also influences the way we think about other people. When you are shopping for anything, you may think, “It’s actually pretty cool that they want to wear this.” But it’s all about the self-preparedness of the mind.
This is a common thing in the industry. Many companies try to create a “brand” by creating a list of the things they already have that are cool and unique. We call this crazy eye marketing. The problem with crazy eye marketing is that it focuses on the “products” that already exist. It’s nothing more than a list of things that already exist and has no consideration of how awesome they are.
This is why we need to talk about self-preparedness. It is hard to be prepared when you don’t know what you’re doing, and when you don’t know what to do then you’re not prepared.
There is no point in having a list of awesome things that you have right now. You dont have to have a list because youre already in the right place. By preparing you can be in the right place when everything comes together, and then you have the knowledge and skills to make the right decisions.
It’s funny that you say “preparation” because the word is pretty self-explanatory. But if you’re like me you don’t really have much of a preparation process because you’re usually on autopilot. In fact I would say that, when I’m on autopilot, I usually do a pretty good job of preparing, so in my mind I think it would take a lot to bring me back to something prepared.
Autopilot is a really interesting word. I think it was coined in the late 80s and is about the idea that we are never on the same page when it comes to our goals and what we want. The idea that we are always moving towards the same destination is called autopilot. The word is a little bit more like a mental state than a physical state, but it is an interesting concept when you think about it.
Some people think that this word is a bit of a turn on. It is, but that is sort of the point. The point is that we are constantly changing our goals and goals are never the same. That is the point that we must take away from autopilot. This is a very interesting concept and it is certainly worth thinking about.
Sure, if we’re talking about moving towards a destination, we’re not doing it with our eyes. But if we’re driving with our eyes glued to the road, we’re not moving forward, we’re just driving as fast as we can. If we were to consider moving forward mindfully then maybe we would be moving in the right direction.
That is the idea that many of our goals are based on, so it is important to ask ourselves, “What exactly are we moving towards?” If we are not moving towards our goal, then we never really move forward. I don’t think that is the best way to go about things, but you’ve probably heard many times that there are only two goals we should strive for in life.
I think we need to ask ourselves what exactly we are trying to get out of life.
